Nathaniel Enos is a founding partner of Shawmut Law, LLC. Few areas of law are as specialized as vaccine injury litigation, and Nathaniel has spent his career learning its intricacies from the ground up. With more than 15 years of experience working within the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, Nathaniel brings a depth of knowledge and practical insight that comes from years of hands-on involvement.

Nathaniel entered the field in 2011 at Conway Homer, a prominent vaccine injury law firm, where he began as a paralegal and later served as a law clerk while attending law school. He became an attorney in 2017, and since 2019, has represented petitioners before the Office of Special Masters, in the United States Court of Federal Claims. His progression through these roles has given him a perspective that extends beyond the courtroom, with firsthand knowledge of the work required to develop, prepare, and pursue vaccine injury compensation claims.

Before beginning his legal career, Nathaniel served as a Corrections Officer with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and worked within the Administrative Office of the Massachusetts Trial Court. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University in 2008 and his JD/MBA from Suffolk University in 2017.

Nathaniel is admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Federal Claims, and is a member of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association.

Outside his legal practice, Nathaniel enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and their two daughters. An avid outdoorsman, he regularly enjoys hiking, running, cycling and fishing. He is working toward several hiking goals, including reaching the highest point in all fifty states, and summiting New Hampshire’s forty-eight 4,000-foot peaks.
